Since leaving his seat on the Naperville City Council, Grant Wehrli has become the State Representative for District 41.
About four months into his two-year term, Wehrli has had productive beginnings, working on bills on the house floor to allow the life-saving drug Narcan into schools, reforming police pension cases and updating state laws.
“I really enjoy my new role, I take pride in where I’m from and I’m trying to show that good government can work,” said Representative Wehrli. “I think we do things on the up and up and we have good government around here and in Springfield it’s changing that mindset.”
Wehrli’s biggest focus is on turning the State’s budget around and using what he’s learned in Naperville to help him do so.
